Armed Forces Pay Review Body recommendations 2016

The Government has today accepted the recommendations of the Armed Forces Pay Review Body (AFPRB) on armed forces pay and charges from 1 April.

In accordance with Government instructions to the respective pay review bodies, the armed forces, NHS staff, and doctors and dentists will all receive an average increase of 1%.

The AFPRB recommendations also reflect the new pay structure and changes to core pay that will be introduced on 1 April 2016 as part of the New Employment Model (NEM).
