New Accommodation Offer 'paused' for review in view of concerns

What had been until this week the "New Accommodation Offer" (NAO) was now the "Modern Housing Offer" according to last night's Telegraph report - presumably also in today's print edition - but Sky News today quotes a statement by the responsible defence minister Dr Andrew Murrison which calls it the "Modernized Housing Offer".

As of 1st March 2024 the Modernised Accommodation Offer (formerly the New Accommodation Offer) is on the face of it still due to be implemented in part in 10 days' time, but if so it's not clear which parts.

The Army Families Federation says it is "awaiting clear guidance from the MOD as to which changes will be available immediately from that date or only on a change of duty station or circumstance (e.g. if you have a child, from a long-term relationship). AFF is continuing to ask for updates on this."
