Independent staff association for regular, reserve and veteran UK armed forces personnel

BAFF strategy meeting in London

London, 12 Sep 2009. Members of the British Armed Forces Federation met today at the Victory Services Club to discuss key issues such as the recruitment of armed forces personnel, continuing development of member services and benefits, and cross-party political engagement.

Amongst other things the meeting discussed the free registration trial on this website. While the exact wording remains under review by the BAFF Executive Council, the free registration concept is clearly a success and we encourage serving and ex-service personnel to register now.

Earlier in the same week, BAFF delegations had met a Defence Minister on Monday, and the Board of EUROMIL on Friday.

Welcome to British Armed Forces Federation - BAFF - independent all-ranks staff association for members of any branch of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, British Army and Royal Air Force, including the reserves. All current UK service personnel of any rank are eligible to join and, as BAFF is not a political organisation, to take an active part in its activities if they wish. Former regular or reserve forces personnel are also very welcome.
