The UK MoD has confirmed that "the Kenyan government has agreed to issue the necessary licences and permissions for Exercise Haraka Storm to take place in Kenya..."

"... The UK remains committed to working closely with the government of Kenya, including progressing the recommendations of the 2025 Parliamentary Inquiry and the Defence Cooperation Agreement."

This welcome development has been reported by bfbs Forces News and by multiple news sources in Kenya, but has yet to be covered by some of the usual suspects which had eagerly reported the exercise's cancellation. Wider issues remain to be progressed.
