The British Armed Forces Federation submitted written evidence to the House of Commons Defence Committee inquiry on medical care for armed forces personnel and their families, which reported in 2008.
A number of BAFF members serving in a range of roles in the Defence Medical Services - including senior medical and nursing staff and combat medical technicians - contributed to our evidence. Former patients - including personnel who had suffered from PTSD-related conditions, and personnel who had been wounded on recent operations - were also consulted.
